Memory Guide
Thinking of purchasing a memory card for your digital camera? Here is a helpful chart to help you determine what size you need. This chart lists the approximate number of images that will fit on a particular size of memory card. Results will vary based on your camera model and other factors. Note that card format (eg. Compact Flash, xD card, SD card, etc.) makes no difference in the number of images that will fit:

Most people find that fitting 250 - 500 images on a card is a good number. That's the equivalent of 10 to 20 rolls of film! Remember though, you tend to take a lot more photos with digital than with film, and if you are recording video clips with your digital camera, you will need more space on your card.
